Hi there, I am Jan or short... well... still Jan. I am a Pythonista, AI enthusiast & Data Scientist, who is fascinated by data-driven systems and their influence on the world. I write about my journey learning, building and experimenting and lets see what else.

My background is industrial engineering. When I had my first internship and saw some of the excel files people are handling, I thought there must be smarter ways to do this, which in turn brought me to Data Science & Python(and R). From Data Science I got into software development, because who wants to release their jupyter notebook to users? Well and from software development I got more into the whole AI topic.

When I am not playing around with the lasted AI models, I enjoy reading, wakeboarding or playing the drums.
